Teams from multiple states came and battled it out in the 1st Annual Camille McCain Memorial Softball Tournament on July 11th & 12th, 2020. This tournament was special for so many reasons. July 11th marked Camille’s 19th Birthday and it was a bitter sweet moment to see so many people come in support of her legacy.
We first must thank every person and team that supported this tournament and the Poplar Bluff Park Department for allowing us the use of the fields at McLane Park. We could not of done this without the numerous volunteers. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
Funds raised from the tournament go directly to help support the mission of M.I.L.L.I.E. and keep our vision alive. We have been able to award a scholarship to a graduating senior and present a softball award to an outstanding high school athlete. Your continued support means we can continue to build on this foundation.
Now, back to the tournament! Once again, thank you to every team for hanging in there while we were forced to reschedule the tournament, not once but twice! You guys are awesome!
We want to take a quick moment to recognize the 1st and 2nd place teams in each category.
